Nine months after being acquired by Exclusive Networks, Ignition Technology is expanding its presence in the EMEA region and launching its operations in France. The UK value-added distributor specializes in supporting emerging cyber security vendors as they move from advanced start-ups to global markets. After the acquisition, its operations focused on the UK, Nordics and Benelux. A series of strategic recruitments enabled it to accelerate its expansion.
To begin its anchoring in Southern Europe, Ignition Technology hires Rodolphe Moreno as Country Manager in France. He previously held similar roles at Deep Instinct, VMware and Infoblox. David Clarys also joined the team as sales director and Lionel Gautier as development manager. In other geographies, Tony Coleman has been appointed Regional Director for Sub-Saharan Africa and Phil Starr for the Middle East.
“Having successfully integrated Ignition as a separate entity within the Exclusive Network business, we are now focused on expanding the Ignition offering in line with Exclusive’s global operations with an initial focus on the EMEA region »Peter Ledger, general manager of Ignition Technology, commented in a press release.
“We now have a clear path for emerging cybersecurity startups, especially those with SaaS-based business models, who require a completely different range of value-based services than established vendors.”Added Jesper Troll, CEO of Exclusive Networks.
Each local ignition office will be able to draw on existing group resources. Exclusive Networks successfully entered the Paris Stock Exchange last September. For the first time in its history, VAR reached €1 billion in revenue in a quarter in the fourth quarter of 2021 and posted total revenue of €3.3 billion, 15.1% higher than the full year. Sufficient to seamlessly pursue the internationalization strategy of its subsidiaries.
